You should invest the $10-12 bucks it costs for a good quality WRL manual
copy for the 500B/C
Try Peter Markavage... google search Manualman.
He makes very good quality copies... and the service is good.
The original manual has a voltage chart, schematic,
theory of operation pages - stage by stage, parts lists, pictures,
proper operating conditions... grid drive, plate current, basic settings,
etc.
You simply cannot properly overhaul, service, or operate a globe king
without out this manual.
*** If making interconnecting cables.. pay particular attention to the
schematics... because the pin-out does change between the various decks !
You can use a B or a C manual just fine...but the A or plain 500 manual isnt
gonna work for you.
Although you are better off with the B manual, because of control
integration in the C model.
