Wasn't that a glow-in-the dark paint on the panel of most of the Globe
transmitters? If not, then it might be a nice touch to add it using
something like this:
http://www.readysetglo.com/ - they make a glow-in-the-dark powder which you
may add to the paint you are screening with.

Subject: [WRL] Globe Champion 300A
Recently I acquired a Globe Champion 300A that was
electrically in good condition. But the case and panel had
scratches and surface rust on them.
I decided to do something about the cosmetic problems and
make the rig look good. So I had a graphic artist do a file
of the panel and had a screen made of it. A friend of mine
then took the screen and panel to strip and re-screen.
Therefore if you have a 300A and wish to have the panel
repainted and screened, he will do it for you. The fonts
are near the original and the art work is good. The ink for
the lettering will be white because the light green ink is
not available.
He does the panel in a high quality paint with a clear coat
and it shines like a new dollar. So if you want to have
your panel redone, email me and I will give you the contact
information for the man.
