Here we are, only 1 more day until the Wisconsin ARES/RACES Conference 2024 on Saturday, November 2nd, held at the McMillan Memorial Library in Wisconsin Rapids!

 

There is still time to register all the way up until Conference morning and we do accept walk-ins on Conference day, but if you are looking to be in the running for a chance at winning an awesome door or Grand prize, courtesy of our very generous sponsors, you must register by 5pm tomorrow, November 1st, and be in attendance to accept the prize!

Greetings Wisconsin ARES/RACES Officers and Members,

Registration is now open for the Wisconsin ARES/RACES Conference 2024!

 

We want to thank WeComm, Ltd. for their continued support and partnership as they present the 26th annual Wisconsin ARES/RACES Conference/ ARRL Convention in Wisconsin Rapids at the McMillan Memorial Library on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Enjoy reuniting with other members while getting the latest updates from leadership, why it's important to get the FM deviation setting right for Packet and VARA, learn to be a good net participant, how to work with the media, and much more!

Help us make a difference! The conference committee continues to provide a great bag lunch option provided by a local nonprofit group again! The lunch menu includes your choice of a turkey / ham / roast beef / veggie sandwich, chips, fresh fruit, cookie and beverage. Lunch is only $15.00 and must be purchased in advance when you register! Lunchtime is a great time to socialize, plus you help us give back to this great community as well as help us keep this conference free and continue to support WeComm operational costs.

 

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
When you register for the conference you have two registration options:

 Conference Registration  - No Lunch (FREE)

OR 

 Conference Registration  - With Lunch ($15 - choose your option). 

 

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

There is a block of rooms available at the Hotel Mead & Conference Center across the street from the McMillan Library.  If you would like to reserve a room, please contact the hotel at (715) 423-1500 by 10/1/2024 and mention that you are attending the WI ARES/RACES Conference to get the discounted rate.

Please keep in mind that the Wisconsin ARES/RACES Conference is not just for officers. It is for anyone interested in ARES/RACES and supporting amateur radio communication in emergencies.
