 The March 2024 Four Lakes Amateur Radio Club March membership meeting is Tuesday March 19th.
Please join us at 7:30pm CST when we welcome Richard Cetron, K2KNB, to our club. He will be giving a Zoom presentation on RF Cables and Connectors. 
Richie has been licensed since 1958 and is a retired Social Studies teacher with a good background in electronics and many years of little activity, as life sometimes gets in the way. He is the President of the Long Island Mobile Amateur Radio Club, Public Information Officer for Nassau County ARES, Assistant Director in the Hudson Division, Affiliated Club Coordinator for the New York-Long Island Section, a VE, and a member of the well known Ham Radio University planning Committee.
The presentation is designed to help understand some of the amazing things that go on in cables and connectors, and why it is important to make the right choices.

We will be meeting in person at UW Space Place as well as via Zoom.

As always we will have the Zoom meeting room open early, so feel free to join and chat with other members beforehand. UW Space Place will be open at 7:00PM CST with the meeting starting at 7:30PM CST.

For your consideration
The Madison Area Repeater Association hamfest is April 13th. If you are able to help MARA by volunteering at the hamfest the day of or the evening preceding, please contact Paul Anderson at president at w9hsy.org. The April 2024 FLARC membership meeting will not have a formal presentation. Instead we will be hosting an antenna building party after the business meeting. This will be a hands-on event at UW Space Place. If you are in need of a 144/440MHz antenna, you will want to attend. More information will be presented at the March membership meeting.Finally, 2024 club membership dues are due. If you have not paid for this year, please consider supporting your club and paying your membership dues.
