Hi!

 

It is my pleasure to be your host for the 2023 Madison-MilwaukeeGet-together for DXers and Radio Enthusiasts this year. I and others who areassisting me are looking forward to a great get-together this year.  Thiswill be the 29th Madison – Milwaukee DX Get-together.  We would be very pleased if you could joinus. 

 

It has been your past participation and that of many others thathas made this event such a pleasure to host. We appreciate your past attendance. We can think of nothing better forour event than to have a great turnout. Won't you join us?

 

The Madison-Milwaukee DX Get-together has beenheld on the third Saturday in August every year (except the 2020 pandemicyear) since 1994. The purpose from the beginning has been to promotecamaraderie among all DXers and radio hobbyists-- "making new friendsand renewing old friendships." This is an all-band event, whichbrings together a diverse group of hobbyists who have one thing in common-- alove of radio.

 

Each year the get-together alternates venues between Madisonand Milwaukee. This year we are in Madison!

As usual, you can expect an afternoon of good fellowship andlots of DX talk in an informal atmosphere. If you like, bring along radios,antennas, station souvenirs, QSLs, photos, log books or any show-and-tell itemsto share with the group. There are opportunities to DX during the event,and a few informal demonstrations are anticipated. (Details to beprovided in early August). If you would like to present on a topic of interest,please contact Mark (see below). An assortment of snacks and soft drinks willbe provided during the event. If you prefer an alternative beverage,please bring your own. Our group photos will take place in late afternoon, sobring along your camera. 

 

A highlight of every Madison-Milwaukee get-together hasalways been the dinner - participation optional. As of now we have notdecided on a location, so keep tuned for details.  Dinner is followed by a night session of DXand camaraderie.  The park closes at 9:30PM.
