Subject: K9APW upcoming "ham retirement" dispersal sale/auction/plans

Hi All --

Dick, K9APW, here.

I was first licensed at age 15 in 1960.  I have been hamming for 62+ years.  I have been at my present rural Verona/Mineral Point Road QTH since 1974.  Unfortunately, old age, a weakened heart, being too fat, and needing to downsize has forced me to start the process of relocating to a "no hamming allowed" new condo in my hometown of Mount Horeb.

Plans are tentative but the earnest money has been spent and the offer has been accepted for an October move.  Therefore I have to liquidate 60+ years of good quality lightly used 'radio stuff!'  My firm, Wisconsin Surplus Online Auction, will be the ultimate choice to dispose of the remaining equipment later this summer/fall.

However, I do have an 80-foot Rohn 45G decent tower to dispose of.  It was installed in 1976.  It is guyed and solid -- but old!  It has a 13 element 2-meter yagi, a 7-element 6-meter yagi, 2-elements of a 3-element tribander, a good Tailtwister rotor, a newer DX Engineering 8-position coax switch, plus a run of 2 hardlines, control cables, etc. -- I also have a Rohn gin pole and rope available to dismantle and remove it!

I would consider a "hell of a package deal" for anyone who might be interested AND WHO is willing to remove the tower from my properly before approximately September 30.

I will also be eventually selling to the highest online auction bidders, without reserves, a HyGain HG70HD crank up/tilt over tower with its tilt over assembly and a Wilson 52-foot tubulor crank up tilt over complete with a 6-meter ground plane and coax.

I also have SEVERAL good quality rotors -- with controls -- all working A-1 -- and truly 25++ assorted HF antennas--wire, coax and otherwise--mostly new in the boxes.  No junk!

Plus, I have a full station with at least 4 quality rigs--a linear--etc. -- as well as shelves and shelves full of accessories, mics, parts, coax, fittings, books, manuals, rigs, keys/keyers, speakers, tools, tower accessories/parts, etc.

Watch my online auction site regularly for future listings of my gear.  If you might be interested in the Rohn 80-ft tower, please let me know ASAP.

I would appreciate it if you would spread the word for me -- I have been QRT for over 2 years.

Thank you --

Once all this is sold and gone, I will be making a decent donation to both the FLARC and the MDXC from the proceeds of the sale.
