Dear ARRL Central Division Member,

                During the ARRL 2021 July Board Meeting in Connecticut I
tendered my resignation from the post of  Director for the ARRL Central
Division.  After the notice was  formally accepted by the ARRL Board
Secretary Mr. Carl Luetzelschwab, K9LA, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana,  became
the ARRL Director for the Central Division. 

                As I write this email, Carl is fully engaged in the
business of the ARRL Central Division business as your Director.  I hope
that you continue to provide the Central Division and Carl with your
support.  Carl can be reached by email at K9LA at arrl.org .

                The reason I found this step necessary is the result of
a positive change of my family situation which has created an
intractable conflict between the amount of time required to properly
fulfill and execute the duties of the ARRL Office of Director and the
time needed for my obligations to my family.  This conflict is most
prevalent during the Summer months and my only responsible decision has
required that I decide to resolve this conflict in favor of my
obligations to my daughter Barbara and my spouse Caron.

                I will continue to be active with various ARRL Board
Committees the activity of which does not require absence from my home
QTH for extended periods of time.
