FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(May 3, 2015) – The 63rd annual W9DXCC DX Convention and Banquet will be held September 11-12, 2015, in Schaumburg, Illinois. Sponsored by the Northern Illinois DX Association, the event is an ARRL-approved operating specialty convention. One new addition this year is a Contest University program that will join the DX University on Friday. Both tracks will have presentation for new and veteran DXers and contest operators. The daylong convention on Saturday will feature a full program of speakers, exhibits, QSL card checking, a CW pileup contest and many prizes. The Banquet on Saturday evening is a time to relax with keynote speaker Riley Hollingsworth, K4ZDH, former FCC Special Counsel for Spectrum Enforcement, as well as the DX Countdown and grand prizes. The convention is scheduled one week earlier than normal because of hotel availability. Woodfield Mall, which offers a wide array of shopping, is one traffic light south of the convention site.
