Subject:SKYWARN: Wisconsin Storm Spotter Classes

Storm spotter training classes across the Badger state begin in earnest this coming week.
Currently 67 classes are on the schedule. The first  Southeast Wisconsin class is March
17th in Waukesha county.

These classes are free and open to the public and you do not have to be a spotter to attend.
They are often attended by police, fire, EMS,  public safety offiicials, community volunteer groups,
first responders, amateur radio operators, and folks with in interest in weather or wanting to
help serve their community.

Learn how stay safe from severe weather and also submit reports to the National Weather Service so they can issue more accurate and timely warnings. Can you tell the difference between just ordinary scary looking clouds and those features that develop prior to a tornado?
