STORM SPOTTER TRAINING
Annual storm spotter training classes, held each spring, are now being scheduled.
A Wisconsin (state wide) listing can now be found on the Milwaukee Skywarn home
page at: http://www.mke-skywarn.org. Milwaukee Skywarn will once again partner
with the Milwaukee-Sullivan National Weather Service office in presenting spotter training
classes to selected Southeast Wisconsin counties. Area spotter schedules can also be
found on your local NWS web page.

APATHY
The past two years have seen a somewhat limited number of severe weather events which
can lead to apathy. The harsh winter and temps have not helped either. Do not become
complacent, make sure to get your annual storm spotter refresher training. You do not have
to be a spotter to attend.

SURVEY
The University of Oklahoma has a severe weather response and communications survey that
should interest our entire Skywarn family. There are 10 multiple choice questions and it takes
about 10 minutes to complete. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/F3G56N3
