Hi Guys, 
I'm very interested in attending your class.
 
I'm ready to get the automatic upgrade from tech to general as I have the docs to prove that I was a tech before the cut off date. 
I finally obtained them recently, thanks to a generous ham who emailed me a copy of the page of the old call book w/my listing & to advancements in computer/internet technology.

Even though, I qualify to upgrade w/o testing, I'd like a refresher & besides I'd like to learn about the new things in amateur radio.  

I live in Merrillville, Indiana, my $s is limited. So, if I do attend your class, I'll have to camp out over night  & eat cheap, up there to save $s.  I'll have the $15 for the VE & don't mind taking the test after the class to make sure that I learned the material. 


I just bought an old p/u truck that needs some work, but it is drivable.
 
I'll see what I can do to make it up there & will be in touch w/you during the remainder of the week. 

I'm surprised to learn of the trend in amateur radio operators not upgrading & wonder how long that has been going on & why? 
I want to be part of the solution to the problem, not part of the problem that needs a solution. 
So, even if I don't make it up there or the class is canceled, I'll encourage amateur radio operators to upgrade, get on HF, build stuff, experiment, etc while remembering "USE IT OR LOSE IT!!!!!"
