An "almost no math" discussion of noise reduction technologies and how 
to take advantage of them in your ham radio operations. Besides acoustic
 noise in the shack or vehicle, there are numerous outside sources such 
as atmospheric, power lines and consumer electronics-generated RFI. Add 
these to noise inside your radio and accessories and the problem can be 
monumental. Plus, a bonus overview of what's happening with the newest 
versions of Ham Radio Deluxe software.
