Despite the poor weather, both WB9LYH and K8TQK plan
on running their nets Wednesday night. Do them a favor and say
hello thru the wind and rain.
*TIME CHANGE FOR 144.240 NET -- WB9LYH WILL
START ONE HOUR EARLIER, AT 7PM CENTRAL, UNTIL
NEXT SPRING*
K8TQK's 144.250 net will stay with the 7:30pm central start
time, thru the winter. We deliberately stagger the start times so
you are able to catch both net controls.
WB9LYH is located in EN54cl, right in the middle of WI.
Mark starts out looking NE and then goes clockwise a full 360.
K8TQK is located in EM89je, south-central OH. Bob starts
out looking N and then goes clockwise a full 360 over the next
hour or so. A quality VHF station can make it into southern
OH, especially when Bob helps do a lot of the heavy lifting.
The good news is that the weather will improve by the weekend.
The Fall Microwave Sprint is Saturday morning, from 7am-1pm
your local time. This microwave sprint will have DISTANCE-
BASED SCORING, so have fun with that. More info is
available at the sponsor's website -- www.svhfs.org.
