The event starts In Madison, WI and travels East and then runs South into

Our goal for this year is to prove to the new race management <Ragnar> that in
order to have reliable multi-point communication they should strive to
incorporate ham radio voice and digital communication throughout each location
where they host a relay. Remember as the saying goes; “we have only one chance
to make a great first impression”.
Currently, Ragnar relies only upon the use of serial communication - cell
phones.

The good news this year is that our duties and responsibilities are
significantly reduced compared to years past. “This year we pass traffic, not
direct it”.
Ragnar will be providing volunteers to work with trained volunteers and staff at
each exchange to do all the traffic control, and runner counting and the other
things required to operate the exchange.

We will report the first three teams, hourly totals if possible, last three
teams and any other communication as necessary.

This, no doubt, is still the greatest emcomm exercise given to us to use or
lose.
