Hi all,

I tend to have the time to get on the air really early in the morning and late at night. I was wondering if anyone knows of a moring net on 2 meters or a late night night owls net on two meters or 70 CM? If not would there be intrust in the idea?
I was wondering I have been looking for a two meter all mode. I am sier they make or at some point made a 70 CM all mode. I have never seen one. I have a couple defrent 2 meter rigs and one 70CM rig. and a nice dual bander on the tower. It hit me that to make the best of my current antenna set up that all modes for 2 and 440 would a good idea. "maybe only on paper" Hi Hi! But I thought why not ask.

Well last month somtime I asked if anyone had a 2 meter all mode they would be willing to sell. I got one reply from a gentalman in Madison. He told me what he wanted for the rig. It was a ICom if I remember right. I just dont remember the model. He wanted to check the rig over to make sure all was working before we made the sale. I never heard back to I am posting to see if that gentalman would contact me off list as to if the rig checked out or not. My old provider had a server problem that after about 3 weeks of being off line I had to find a diffrent provider so my old e mail address may have bounced. I am back on line and the server problem of my old provider is still not fixed.

I still have my ears open for a HF rig so I can get on the world wide bands. I am looking for a UHF H.T. as well to work the birds, I am sure that my mobiles will do the job to. Its just that the Relm 70 CM rig I have I dont think would would to well. that said my Relm 70 CM rig does have the W.I.N 444.800 repeater programed in it. Maybe I will use that rig a bit more often. Also still looking into a interface of packet, SSTV and any other digital modes used on 2 on 440.

One last thing does anybody have the web addres of the Wisconsin smoke signal web site?

Thanks for reading 73
