    Good morning,

KC9BQA here in Sheboygan county. I'm on with the
146.430 simplex net, starting at 8pm tonight. I call for
SE WI check-ins by counties, then I open it up to "anyone,
anywhere" If you're DX, that's your clue to give it a try.

If there are VHF'ers in other parts of WI who would like
to give it a try, please email me. I now have a 10 el vertical
beam up 75' for 146/147 MHz. I heard Wausau repeaters
lightly last night with the beam and flat band conditions, over
a 125 mile path.

Because of this program -- www.wivuch.com -- many are
looking to make more SSB and FM simplex contacts on
bands like 6m, 2m, 1.25m (220MHz) and 70cm from all
parts of WI.

There are still many V/UHF'ers out there, but we are
spread out and often lose interest due to quiet bands. This
is a correctable condition. Even if you are not a V/UHF'er,
please consider passing the word to those who might have an
interest.
Visit kc9bqa.com for the latest V/UHF updates. We host
very active SSB nets on 144.240 MHz on Wed. nights, and
over 20 hams from multiple states were on board last night.
The details, as always, are up on the website.

    73,
    Todd KC9BQA EN63ao (that's my "grid square")
