The 2m FM Simplex Nets are *ON* tonight, just like every
Thursday. Look toward KC9BQA in southern Sheboygan
County at 8:00pm on 146.430 and look toward WV9E in
Onalaska (La Crosse) at 8:30pm on 146.460. These are
friendly nets to stir up more activity on 2m simplex. All are
welcome and we enjoy the challenge of working DX or lighter
signals.

Conditions were up last night with the SSB net on 144.240.
I suspect conditions will also be enhanced tonight, with warmer
and more humid air moving in. In fact, I bet conditions are very
good this morning, but I'm not out in the shed where the rigs are.

If several thousand hams in WI knew about this activity at least
a few hundred would be interested. I ask anyone here to help
spread the word to your club, your buddies, maybe that guy with
the 2m antennas. We especially want to include guys north of
Hwy 29.

If you're DX and you need me to swing a 10 element beam
up 75' toward you, email me ahead of the net, or propose a
sked sometime.

The fellow who emailed me some weeks back about 146.55
activity in the Eau Claire area, could you give me a little more
detail to work with? You talking evenings, mornings?
Weekends? Who has a beam antenna, or a great QTH, etc?
You Eau Claire guys should be able to work the WV9E net
out of Onalaska on 146.460 at 8:30pm.

This is the time of year to be active on V/UHF. Enjoy.

     73,
