WB9LYH has the long-range 2m net tonight from Wood Co.
Stacked 17B2's, 500w and great QTH means he gets out 400
miles with flat conditions. If you want more detail, it's always
at kc9bqa.com. Made several posts to kc9bqa.com yesterday,
after the contest weekend.

Conditions may be enhanced tonight. This website provides
a visual -- http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo.html -- scroll down
for the forecast for 0000Z Thursday. Remember that these maps
are forecasts, not actual conditions. Hepburn Tropo Forecast
updates daily about 12:30-1pm -- click refresh.

Actual conditions are depicted by this map:
  http://www.mountainlake.k12.mn.us/ham/aprs/path.cgi?map=na
Darker the colors, the better the conditions. This map you can
refresh often. You will notice how conditions vary according to
time of day, and with various types of weather.

Having maps is nice, but signals on the air are by far the most
important. That's why we promote activity. If everyone is "just
listening", there will never be any band opening, regardless of
conditions.
