[WIham] VHF/UHF Digital Voice Program @ MARA Meeting, Madison, Monday, 1/11 @ 7 pm

The January MARA (Madison Area Repeater Association) meeting program will cover VHF/UHF Digital Voice and feature D-STAR & APCO P25. 

The meeting will be on Monday, January 11th at 7 pm and will open with the program. 

The business meeting will follow the program with an election of officers & discussion of the upcoming MARA hamfest. 

If you might have seen the D-STAR program at the FLARC (Four Lakes Amateur Radio Club) meeting in September 2006 you'll want to attend 
this program as well since there have been several new developments in D-STAR and new presentation material has been incorporated, 
including a VHF/UHF Digital Voice Video by Amateur Radio Video News. 

We're also planning to do alocal demonstration using D-STAR simplex. 

There have been several D-STAR repeaters deployed in Wisconsin over the last 3 years including in Baraboo last summer. 

The meeting will be at the Space Place at Villager Mall at 2300 South Park Blvd. in Madison.
