Well it seemed like spring was just around the
corner, but now it seems like a few more rounds
with Old Man
Winter. Would you believe that after all these years I am finally going to
chase
a real storm this season? And
speaking storms here is a run down of what's happening and
some shameless self promotions.
SPOTTER
SCHEDULES:
Local Storm Spotter training schedules for 2010 are
now listed on the NWS websites that
serve Wisconsin (Milwaukee/Sullivan, La Crosse, Minneapolis, Duluth,
and Green Bay).

WEATHER TRAINING
VIDEOS NEEDED:
Milwaukee NWS Meteorologist Rusty Kapela
indicates that he seeking video clips for his
upcoming training programs. He is especially
interested in scary looking, wall, and
funnel cloud videos. Images should be steady and
of good quality. Contact him at:

VIDEO
CHANNEL:
Milwaukee Skywarn has launched its own You-Tube
channel. This site is a continually
growing repository of weather related videos. To date we have over 200 clips listed
and
there is something for just about everyone who
responds to severe weather. Caution;

It will serve as a good refresher and has a section
for schools, home, and, work.
