Every Wed., we have strong signals for hams who want to try
making contacts without the help of a repeater. This week there's
KA0KYZ in EN33 (far SE MN) on 144.230 MHz, starting at
6:45pm central time. There's also WB9LYH in EN54 (near WI
Rapids) on 144.240, starting at 7pm central time. Both these net
controls start off looking east, before rotating their beams clockwise
over the next 60-90 minutes.
More info about these nets, and many other VHF/UHF activities
all across the Midwest is at kc9bqa.com. Think of my website as
the VHF/UHF newspaper. Read the paper a few times each week
and you're all caught up.
