KB9KTD - HUBER-LAN - EQ-REPAIRShort reminder:

The net starts at 8:30 pm CST here in EN43, on 146.46 Mhz from LaCrosse. Hopefully each Thursday nite we have some simplex activity on 2 meters throughout the Tri-state area.. There are
predictions for enhanced conditions for tomorrow and who knows, maybe
I can bust the record QSO distance for the net: 163.45 miles.on FM with
a simple RS discone up 15 feet.

2 meters can be alot like 10 and 6. FYI tonight we had Es to Oklahoma,
and Kansas (new state for me on 2). Like many other bands, even 15, with no activity on the band it can be open and still no one is there for a contact.
Here's a map of last nites activity... www.wv9e/images/2m81810.gif

Here is a link to VHF activity in the Midwest: www.wv9e.net/vhfnets.htm

73 and hope to hear you on VHF or above..

Dave, WV9E
