  Greetings all. 


   Just a short note, for those that have 70cm equipment.  The spring sprint is Wednesday nite at 7-11pm local time.  Even if you are FM only there should be some activity in the area.  I will be on 432 ssb (horizontal) and will give some calls on  445.950 fm (vertical).  
   
  For those with HT's, give a listen. If you are in the area 5 watts
  on the band is plenty for a contact locally. 20-50 watt mobiles will 
  work even better and ofcourse further.  Details for the contest can be
