[WIARC] Worked the hamfest

Chris...

That's pretty good, with only 20 watts. They told me that your signal was pretty strong.

Also managed to get Ron Rose, AA9GL, yesterday.

I've always had trouble, from my home station, with propagation to the midwest, but our special event station was only 100 watts, and the beam only about 30 feet or so, so not a huge station.

Good hamfest...Friday was understandably slow, but Saturday turnout was very good. Lots of hams looking for someplace to spend some money, and get out of the house. Disappointing that the Orlando Hamcation has been cancelled for February, 2021.

Bob, I managed to work you all with just 20 watts yesterday while testing antennas and portable station in the back yard yesterday. Glad I was able to make the contact.

I noted in our logs that Chris, NR9Q, had managed to work our Melbourne, FL Hamfest special event station on Friday...W4MLB/55...so propagation (for once!!) is there...14.250 +/-.

Everyone else, jump on in. We'll be on again today...Saturday, 10/10/20.
