[WIARC] Vice President Vacancy

Good afternoon all,

                As I am sure everyone is now aware, Dave (K9FHX) is in the process of moving. This leaves a vacancy in the club president position. As I am told, per our bi-laws this position needs to be filled. Not being able to have our regular in person meeting mildly complicates this process. There have been meetings held via telephone conference calls. This has worked very well so far. Only problem has been the shortage of attendance to be able to vote on issue needing handled. At least 10 people must be in attendance for this to work, plus club officers (2 I believe). This information has been put out by Jim Funk on how to join this call. If you need this info it will be sent out again just before the meeting night.

                So, it is my intentions to get this vacancy filled by the next club meeting. If you have any interest in filling either the club president position or the vice president position please give me a call at 217-440-9681 (Chris, NR9Q). If you are interested in only the vice president position then I will offer to fill the president position till the end of the year. This is why I have mentioned both as vacancies. So please help out your club and volunteer to fill these positions. 73
