[WIARC] last one for tonight

Danny...

Thanks for the callout in your last email.

Although I find propagation to the midwest wanting many times, I'd be more than happy to set up a sked with any WIARC members. They can contact me through this portal, or rcreswick at msn.com.

That being said, I have had a couple of very nice contacts with WA0VLC, Bob, in Marion (Cedar Rapids), Iowa recently...very good propagation and very strong signals...and that's close enough to the Quincy area that we should be able to make something work. Contacts were in the time period 1900-2100Z, on 14M SSB.

As an aside...I just received an email from a local ham here, our club president, who said he just worked South Cook Island on 10M...at around 1200Z. That's really weird...but sometimes these things happen...

73, de
Bob

WIARC member Joe Huie, K2PEY, winters in Florida and is on 20 meters every
morning on or about 14.242 MHz. Joe is a student of propagation and would
love to hear from you if you hear him on. When Joe returns home, he still
gets on 20 meters every morning, then proceeds to lower bands to check
propagation. I saw that AA9GL had a QSO with Joe this past week, give Joe a
call if you hear him.

Bob, NB4C, a past WIARC President and current club member, is a resident in
Florida and Bob would not mind hearing from hams in the Quincy area,
especially if you worked for Harris. Bob is a member of this list and if you
want to set up a schedule with him, I am sure he will respond her if you are
interested.
