Just a reminder from our Sep. meeting.  The American Red Cross is 
hosting there Fall Volunteer Social with food and friendship. Tuesday, 
October 15Th at noon at the Quincy Chapter Building, 3000 North 23rd St. 
Quincy, IL. Entree will be provided, please bring a dish to pass. The 
WIARC Volunteers are invited. Lets show up and let them know who and 
what we are. Some of them might think that we live in the janitor closet 
and make strange noise.

The Illinois QSO Party is today from noon until 8 PM local time.

The club station will be active, anyone that wants to come and operate is welcome.? If you can, get on and make some contacts. Even if you don't have HF, you can work the locals on 2 meter FM, we will use 146.550 simplex.

Who was on for the ILQP? I worked a few but surely there were more on that I
worked from the club station.

I worked N9UPG, NR9Q, KD0DKE, N9DT, N9JF and W9WE. With myself, that makes 7
club members active (actually a couple more as WB9EWM was with W9WE and
KB9CEQ was with N9JF). Did anyone else get on?
