Anything (clean) has to be better than the standard phonetics.  I'll bet 10%
of the contacts try to bust that.  Mostly "Whiskey Alpha Echo".  Long live
CW...  Of course, after all the busts of the club call in ILQP....never
mind.... <insert red face....>

I suppose we could start a project/research to see how many different
phonetics were used for this call...

Nice story from Mike about the W9AWE history.  I remember many Field Days
with W9 "ALL WHITE ELEPHANTS" on the air.



Reminder to all that this weekend is the Florida QSO Party.  Come work
us...W4MLB.  I'll be leading off the effort on SSB for the Platinum Coast
Amateur Radio Society (PCARS), starting at noon EST on Saturday.  Come work
