[WIARC] New digital mode

     If anyone is at all interested in digital, there is a new digital mode to try. The mode is called FT8. It uses a more narrow signal than that of JT65. The article that I will link to below talk more about the mode and its development.

     I went ahead and installed WSJT-X 1.8.0rc tonight and gave it a go on 6m. After a few calls I got a reply from N0TB already. This contact was done in a minute. JT65 takes much longer and has to key up at the start of the minute. This mode will key up as soon as you push enable. Transmits for a little shy of 15 seconds, decodes, listens for 15, then transmits again. This modes is really worth a look. 73
