The January issue of the Western Illinois ARC Feedline is available for

The is no business meeting the first Wednesday of January, we will be having
the annual dinner on Saturday January 13 at The Patio Restaurant, 133 S. 4th
in Quincy, IL. There will be a social hour with a cash bar starting at 6:00
PM, the meal will be served about 7:00 PM. Everyone is welcome, you do not
have to be a club member nor even a ham radio operator. Invite your friends,
bring your family. I have not received confirmation on menu or price but it
will most likely be as it has in years past, salad, fried chicken, roast
beef, potato, dessert and coffee or tea. The cost will be approximately
$17.00 per person, taxes and gratuity included. Our speaker will be ARRL
Central Division Director Kermit Carlson, W9XA. Kermit has indicated he has
a presentation that should be of interest to everyone, not just the ham
radio operators. Reservations can be made with Arnold Gerst, K9VXD at
217-242-8996 or gerstarnold at att.net Reservations are needed by Wednesday
evening, January 10. If you make a reservation, you are expected to honor it
unless you cancel it by January 10. 

Dues for 2018 are due. You can pay at any meeting including the dinner
meeting or you may mail them to the club PO box. Dues are still $20.00 a
year for most of us with a discount for family members living in the same
household.
