[WIARC] IL QSO Party

A reminder that this Sunday is the Illinois QSO Party from 12:00 noon until
8:00 PM, CDST, 1700 UTC Oct. 16 through 0100 UTC Oct 17. 

 

Please get on, even if it is just to work as many locals as possible and
make sure to send in your log!

 

We will again use 146.550 simplex as a 2 meter calling frequency. The club
station will be in operation, anyone that wants to may come out and operate
as a multi-op effort, this includes Technicians as you will be able to
operate HF with a control operator there. Since we now have an antenna that
will handle the power, we will be able to use the amplifier on 40 and 75/80
meters this time.

 

If you do come to the club station to operate, please let me know ahead of
time so I know to expect you. If you are coming out and have not made
arrangements ahead of time, call on 146.550 or my cell so we can meet you at
the door. I may not get there until slightly after 12:00, but if I am late
it will only be a few minutes.
