[WIARC] August Feedline

The August edition of the Western Illinois ARC Feedline is available for
viewing. It can be found at:

The August meeting will be held Wednesday August 3, 7:30 PM at the Red Cross
in Quincy. I am sure there will be plenty of discussion on the upcoming
Swapfest.

SWAPFEST: Saturday August 13 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the Eagles
Alps, 3737 North 5th Street. In reality, people start showing up by 6:30 AM.
There are several ways you can help, we will need a few people on Friday
evening to help the vendors unload and set up tables and chairs, we need
people to work the gate, we need volunteers to help in the kitchen, we need
people to help vendors load up, help with clean up and we will need a few
VE's to work the exam session. Even if you cannot help with any of these
positions you can come out and buy a ticket and eat breakfast, or brunch. At
9:30 AM, our ARRL Section Manager, Tom Ciciora, KA9QPN, will be speaking and
I encourage everyone to hear what Tom has to say.
