In continuation from last month's VHF shootout we'll be having a UHF HT
shootout at this week's meeting.

 

If you need to pre-program your HT we'll be using 430MHz

 

Same 3 categories:

Stock - as purchased (honor system)

Stock modified - after market whip antennas

Open - just like it says..

The September issue of the Western Illinois ARC Feedline is available for

The September meeting of the WIARC will be Wednesday Sept. 2 at the Red
Cross, 3000 N. 23rd in Quincy starting at 7:30 PM. I am sure we will hear
the preliminary report of this year's Swapfest and there will likely be
discussion about the upcoming Illinois QSO Party.

Speaking of the Illinois QSO Party, we have already heard from several
stations with plans for this year's event. This year it will be held Sunday,
Oct 18. You can learn more about this year's event at:
