During the meeting I think Darryl said that John Fisher was licensed when he
was 14.  And I believe we had concluded we didn't know exactly when that
was.

 

John was born Mar 26, 1902 so if 14 would have been licensed Mar 26, 1916 to
Mar 25, 1917.

>From the old call sign database entry below If his expirations were all 10
years apart this would indicate he was licensed Sep 23, 1916 when he was 14.

Does this jive with what we know about John?  So maybe we can use this date
and celebrate the 100th anniversary of W9OAB in a couple of years?   Maybe
we can get a news story out of it?
