[WIARC] Technician class starting

The Technician Amateur Radio class will be starting this Saturday, January
25th. So far I have heard of two that intend to be there and there is a
possibility of more, depending on the results of an Adams County EMA push
for more volunteers this week.

The Technician class will be held at the Red Cross in Quincy for 5
consecutive Saturday mornings (weather permitting). Each session will start
at 9:00 AM and run until 12:00 noon. The study material will be the ARRL
Technician License Manual.

If you know of anyone that may be interested, please let them know about it
and let me know as well.

I have had a couple of inquiries about upgrade classes, if you have any
interest in a General or Extra upgrade class, speak up and we will see what
we can do to get that organized as well.
