Whoever did the downstate gate-rattling needs a medal! I didn't work much down there, but apparently the phone guys really turned out. Works for me.
I worked NG9R, N9DT, NM9C on CW. Also did not hear W9WE. I'm glad I managed to (sort of) cover Pike and Calhoun as well as Mason, Scott and Hancock. I gave Brown sort of "short shrift" as our plans kept changing. I thought originally I would be coming back through Brown on the way to Adams, so I initially just ran it on 20 meters. Same with Morgan. Then when we came out of Mason and Fulton, we decided to try to catch Hancock so didn't come back to Brown....therefore not running it on 40 meters...
Looks like I have a bit over 500 qso's in effectively 6 hours of operation. Log transciption (from chicken-scratching) still in progress....

Wow, I am impressed. I know you were really load out here early on, later your signal had dropped a bit. 40 meter propagation was better than it has been for 3 or 4 years.
I managed to work WIARC members K2PEY, NA9Q, N9JF, N9UPG and WM9DX plus heard N9DT and AB9QW. I also worked KA9SCS and N9TMM on 2 meters. I never heard NM9C or W9WE. I did see spots for NM9C but nothing for W9WE when I was looking.
I was impressed with the turnout from the downstate clubs, they activated 4 or 5 county corners that are a little on the rare side most years. KC9QAE I believe was the driving force in getting them organized and on the air.

I hope we had a good turn out for ILQP from WIARC club members. I did hear AB9QW, N9UPG, N9DT, K2PEY, KB9HGI, WM9DX on SSB. I know N9JF, W9WE, NM9C among others were also planning to be on in CW Mode. I am sure there were others I didn't hear or know were planning to be on.
If you did get on make sure to send your log to N9JF in cabrillo format including a summary sheet. If you have defaulting in scoring your log or creating the cabrillo file, contact one of the ILQP committee members and we will help.
NA9Q preliminary score is:
534 SSB QSO's
58 IL Counties
45 States (Incl Illinois)
4 Canadian Prov
5 DX Countries
534 QSO's X 112 Mults = 59,808
Mike
