[WIARC] Ham Radio Help needed this Saturday

This Saturday at 8:00am is the annual Running Raider Classic walk/run. IN
the past the local Ham Radio Community have provided communications support
for the event and the time is upon us again. I have several volunteers
already but need a few more. All you need is a VHF radio as we use 147.51
simplex, and a pen and paper. We radio in the split times for the first
runners and keep track of where the last runners and walkers are, and of
course be there to request help for anyone having a problem.

I realize it is field day but it should not interfere too much as we are
normally done in most positions by 9:00am and all positions by 9:30 at the
latest. The whole event takes place in South and Indian Mounds Parks with
the start and finish at Notre Dame High School. We need to in place about
7:45 am. I will assign positions that day after I see who many people I have
available.
