[WIARC] ILQP

Well it was exciting.  The 2008 ILQP is over and I found it to be one of the
better versions in the past couple of years.  Band conditions on 40 and 80
were quite good.  40 didn't get too long until late in the fray and 80 was
productive very early.  Interest in our event was high and there was never
more than 5 minutes of slack time where I couldn't scare up a QSO on either
band.  I worked several other WIARC members on the air and was encouraged by
all the activity.

As a sign of interest from outside the club in ILQP 2008, the club website
had its' busiest day ever with more than 1000 requests for downloads, most
for the ILQP pages.  

If you made any contacts in the contest, please submit an entry and list
WIARC as your club affiliation.  Send your entry to n9jf at arrl.net.  Please
submit a summary sheet along with your entry.  If you are not sure about
scoring, the ILQPO Committee will do it for you, just submit the log and we
will do the rest.
