QUINCY NOTRE DAME CROSS COUNTRY CLASSIC RACE
Once again the Quincy Notre Dame High school Cross Country Team has asked
the local Ham community for assistance with their Raider Classic Race. We
have been asked to provide logistic and safety communications for the event.
This is a great opportunity for new Hams and old hands alike to get
involved. All you need is a 2 meter mobile or portable.
This year it will be held on June 23rd which I realize is Field Day but it
will start at 8:00 am so most Hams will be done by 9:00am and all will be
done by 9:30 am giving plenty of time to get out to the park for FD setup.
We will be using 2 Meters 147.51 MHz for the event and all you will need is
a 2 Meter Radio and maybe a lawn chair and or something to write on as you
help us track runners.
 This event will happen in South and Indian Mounds Parks and they expect 350
to 400 runners.
