[WIARC] The 2005 Western Illinois ARC Hamfest August 13 in Quincy

The 2005 version of the Western Illinois ARC Swapfest will take place on
Saturday, August 13 at the Eagle's Alps Grounds, 3737 North 5th Street,
Quincy, IL.  Watch for the signs on the US 24 bypass at the North 5th Street
intersection.  Gates open at 7 AM.  Several commercial vendors will be on
site including Amateur Accessories and WB0W.  Lunch will be available on
site.  Early bird coffee and pastries.

Tickets are $5 at the gate and outdoor tail-gaiting is free with admission.
Talk-in will be on 147.03+ with a 103.5 PL.  Inside vendor area with tables
still available.  Inside vendor setup Friday night with prior arrangement.

VE test session at 12:30 PM.  Testing location is off site.  Testing is
under the ARRL VEC administration.  Reservations required.  Call
217-224-8526 for reservations and testing location.  Applicants must bring
two forms of ID, pencils, pen and current license.  Test fee is $14.00.
