[WIARC] QND Cross Country Race

The Quincy Notre Dame High School's Cross Country Track Team is having their
Annual Invitational cross country meet on September 14th starting at 4:00pm
until 6:00 or 6:30pm at South Park in Quincy.

They have 20 High schools attending this year with 200 to 300 runners in 3
races!!. They have asked if we can provide track communications as we have
in years past. To do so I will need at least 4 hams besides myself for the
event. We will operate on 147.510 Simplex. It is not hard work we only have
to help them keep track of the first and last runner, start their split
timers at the beginning of the race, watch out for traffic in the park and
slow it down and be available to call help if someone comes up hurt. The
good public exposure is great for us (might help if we ever have a local BPL
fight) If you would be willing to help please let me know.
