[WIARC] Request for Help

The date of June 21st 2003 (week before field day) is when the QND Running
Raider Classic cross country run will be held in the South End of Quincy.

The race will be held in Mostly South Park and Indian Mounds Park.

Starting time is 8:30 and will be done by 10:30 for most people.

The event organizer (the QND Cross Country Team) has requested assistance
from the local Amateur Community to provide communications for the event. In
addition to myself and Myles I will need 6 to 8 volunteers to man (or woman)
check points and watering stations so that help can be summoned if a runner
gets in trouble and to provide general progress info. IT is not hard work
and I promise the weather will be nice, no rain!

I think we will be operating 2 meter simplex but am open to other ideas.

If you are willing to pitch in and lend a hand please let me know.
