ARRL Headquarters has received a group of eight separate monitoring =
requests (listed below) from Riley Hollingsworth of the FCC Enforcement =
Bureau.  The specific details of each monitoring request case are =
prefaced with the following statement:

Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154(f)(4)(B), and the =
"Amended Agreement Between the Field Operations Bureau of the Federal =
Communications Commission and the American Radio Relay League, Inc. =
Regarding the Use of Amateur Volunteers."

recordings to ARRL headquarters, up to a maximum of two hours in length, =

Please monitor 7.240 MHz in the early evenings between 4:30 PM and 6 PM =
at random times until January 25, 2003.  We are particularly interested =
in transmissions from the Northeast region.  Please submit tape =

Please monitor 3.865 MHz in the early evenings between 10 PM and 1 AM at =
random times until January 25, 2003.  Please submit tape recordings to =
ARRL headquarters, up to a maximum of two hours in length, of any =
significant violations.  Thank you.

Request for assistance: Case #2003-477=20

Please monitor 3.860 MHz in the late evenings and early mornings between =
10 PM and 1 AM at random times until January 25, 2003.  We are =
particularly interested in a group known as "Motley Crew".  Please =
submit tape recordings to ARRL headquarters, up to a maximum of two =
hours in length, of any significant violations.  Thank you.

Please monitor 3.818 MHz in the early evenings between 9 PM and 11 PM at =

Please monitor 3.945 MHz in the late evenings and early mornings between =
10 PM and 1 AM at random times until January 25, 2003.  We are =
particularly interested in transmissions from a Florida group.  Please =
submit tape recordings to ARRL headquarters, up to a maximum of two =
hours in length, of any significant violations.  Thank you.

Please monitor 14.313 MHz on weekend afternoons between noon and 7 PM at =
random times until January 25, 2003.  Please submit tape recordings to =
ARRL headquarters, up to a maximum of two hours in length, of any =
significant violations.  Please have the OO's note specific times of any =
unidentified stations, such as "Florida Cowboy", a high-pitched voice or =
CW transmissions, as well as deliberate interference from identifiable =
