In the interest of keeping our rightful place at the top of the heap of the
IL QSO Party Club Scores, I have visited a couple 3 county corner spots
within 1 hours drive from Quincy. One was Hancock, McDonough and Schuyler
and the other is Hancock Adams Schuyler. I have tracked down land owners at
both locations (one took some work as it is owned through a land trust
company in Midland TX). I have permission for WIARC stations at both
locations if anybody wants to operate them. I think Myles and I will do the
Hancock Adams Schuyler location as it lends itself to our "on hand" antennas
better.

The other is only about 10 or 12 miles further north (near Plymouth IL) but
it will require a vertical antenna or some type of support mast for antennas
as there are no trees at the site. It would be a good one for a camper
operation if the ground is dry. Actually it would be best for camper
operation either way, but a non camper operation could do it as well. It
does not have power so you will have to BYOP. If anybody wants to mount a IL
QSO expedition to Plymouth IL let me know and I will give you a map and the
name of the land owner I talked to so you have it if the cops show up.
