[WAR ] W.A.R.Meeting - September 10, 2011

[The Wisconsin Association of Repeaters]

Due to various family and business related reasons, our Chairman Bob
Schmidt N9GMT has decided to step down as Chairman. We wish him well,
sometimes life takes priority over radio (As it should).

Due to the fact that the Spring Meeting (usually where we elect new
Officers for the year) was not held, we will hold the "Annual Meeting"
of W.A.R. to include the 2011 Officer Election at the September 10
meeting in Appleton.

The Fall Wisconsin Association of Repeaters meeting will be held:

1302 East Wisconsin Ave
Appleton, WI 54911

Due to construction on Wisconsin Avenue, it is best to approach the
Red Cross Offices from the NORTH. Exit 41 at Ballard Road (County Road
E) and go south. Turn right (heading west) onto Glendale Ave, turn
left (heading south) onto Owaissa Street.  The Red Cross Building will
be on your right as you approach Wisconsin Avenue.

Also, please note, the restaurant across the street from the Red Cross
where some of us meet for lunch is closed due to the construction.
