PS: Just like you guys have WA2XMN to honor the Alpine license, we here at
Columbia got WA2XM as the club call for the Wireless Telegraph Club of
Columbia University which was the original name of the club in 1908 (
https://wikis.cuit.columbia.edu/confluence/display/cuarc/W2AEE+History); XM
and then 2XM were the Columbia experimental call signs. Al, you'll note
that 2XM's licensee in 1913 was no other than Prof. Morecroft, Armstrong's
"adult supervision".
