Tonight, Monday, October 19, we have two nets: the North Central WV 70 cm. net on 446.5 simplex, at 8:30 PM; followed by our regular weekly ARES Training and Traffic Net on our 2-meter repeater, 145.43- PL 103.5 Hz., at 9:00 PM. As the leaves fall from the trees, you may have a better chance at the simplex net than you have had during the summer.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, we have our weekly in-person Taco Tuesday net held at Los Mariachis restaurant in University Town Plaza at noon. This is an easy net, no pain, no strain, no one hertz.
Later on Tuesday, at 7:00 PM, is our monthly MWA meeting. We will probably conduct at least two activities: we will elect a new Presidunce; and we will try to settle problems with the use of MT63 with various radios and computers or phones. Given our dedication to readiness for emergency communication during possible loss of other means, this is an important step. I hope to see you there, and I expect, as usual, for the formal meeting to end no later than 9:00 PM, and possibly earlier.
