Note: We have a Level 2 Risk of Severe Thunderstorms today. Should the National Weather Service issue Severe Thunderstorm Watches or Warnings for our counties later today, the North Central West Virginia Skywarn Net will be activated. 

From the NWS Pittsburgh:

Strong to severe storms are possible today with a passing cold front. Most of North Central WV is under a Level 2

Risk for severe weather. The primary threat is damaging wind gusts and tornadoes. The best time for severe storms to occur would be between 3pm to 7pm today.
