A Wind Advisory has been declared for most of North Central West Virginia. An Advisory does not require Skywarn activation. A High Wind Warning does require Skywarn activation. However, the Warning is for Eastern Tucker County where there are few, if any, hams who participate in our Skywarn Net. Therefore I will monitor the W8MWA repeater today in case there are any reports of wind damage, but the North Central West Virginia Skywarn Net will not be activated unless conditions change and warrant this.
