...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING
TO 1 AM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches, with localized amounts of 6 inches across the highest terrain areas of eastern Tucker county. Wind gusts up to 40 mph for most of the area, with gusts as high as 55 mph across the eastern portion of Tucker county.

* WHERE...Eastern Preston and Eastern Tucker Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 1 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A few heavier snow showers or squalls could also result in reduced visibility this morning, and again this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
